Neil Roberts - Practice Manager

Neil joined the Eagle Rise / Glenview Animal Hospital team as our Practice Manager in June of 2015.
He was born and raised in England before coming to Canada in 1981. After graduating high school in 1990 he moved to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria and has been here ever since. Neil spent the next 20 years working in the restaurant and hospitality industry in various management positions before giving the world of veterinary medicine a try. So far it has been a good fit and he has really enjoyed the change.
Neil has a couple of part time pets but is still looking for his next furry friend.

Lisa Bertoia - Book Keeper/Office Administrator

Lisa started at Glenview Animal Hospital in November 2003 as a part time receptionist after working for 21 years at Telus in customer service. Not long after, Lisa then became full time as Glenview’s office manager, and worked as such for several years. More recently, Lisa has transitioned away from front end and has become the clinic's Book Keeper and office administrator

Lisa enjoys the outdoors with her husband and two kids. She is extremely passionate about her hobby of horseback riding, which she shares with her daughter. Lisa also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. Lisa has 1 horse, 1 naughty Labradoodle  and 2 cats at home.

Justine - Lead Technician

Justine graduated from Douglas College’s RAHT program in June of 2013 and started working at Eagle Rise and Glenview not long after.

Volunteering at Wild Arc for the last 3 years, she realized her passion was working with animals and that is what drew her to become a technician. Justine traveled with “Vet Nurses in the Wild” to South Africa for a month in the spring of 2013. While there, she worked with a local animal shelter and wild life veterinarian capturing wildlife and administering their care.

Justine also regularly volunteers with the organization 'our place', which offers veterinary care for low income families

Justine has one four-legged friend, a domestic long hair cat named “Charlie” and in her spare time enjoys doing cross fit and being active in the outdoors.

Sara - Lead Reception

Sara joined Eagle Rise Animal Hospital in October 2010 after spending the previous four years working at a neighbouring clinic. Sara completed the Veterinary Office Management program in Abbottsford BC, in 2006, graduating at the top of her class. While her primary job over the last few years has been as an exam room assistant, she has just recently taken on the position of Reception Team Leader

When she isn’t busy working, Sara likes to focus her time on one of her other passions, fitness and nutrition. On any given day she can usually be found in the gym lifting weights. Sara also loves exploring all the amazing trails and beaches our beautiful island has to offer!

Although she doesn’t have any pets of her own, Sara spends a good portion of her time caring for her little “nephew” Milo, a rambunctious terrier cross with plenty of personality!
