Bobbi joined the Eagle Rise/Glenview team in late 2013, after working for five years at an emergency veterinary hospital. She is very excited to learn all about primary care.
When not helping our furry friends and their humans at work, she loves to travel, and bike around our beautiful island with her husband and little dog “Tasia”. The queen of the household is a very opinionated main coon named “Simba”
Cheryl joined the practice at its very start in 1995 after working for almost a decade in an environmental laboratory. She continues to enjoy the change from her previous position and finds the challenges in a veterinary office very rewarding. She hopes to be the smiling face behind the reception desk for many decades to come!
Cheryl’s enthusiastic approach to veterinary reception and her enjoyment of keeping pets and people happy have contributed greatly to the education and feeling of ease for both our patients and their people. If ever a concern arises about any aspect of our client service, Cheryl is quick to do what is necessary to meet our client’s expectations.
Being outdoors and active, spending time with family and friends, and her love of being a Mum of two children are Cheryl’s passions when she is not hard at work.
Jessica started working as an assistant for Glenview and Eagle Rise Animal Hospital as an assistant in July 2015.
All her life she has loved animals but it wasn’t until traveling in Thailand and volunteering with an organization supporting elephants off chains, that she knew she wanted to pursue a career involving animals. After coming back to Canada she went back to school and got her diploma as a Veterinary Assistant.
During her spare time, Jessica loves DIY projects! Anything from macrame, knitting, crocheting to pallet and other wood projects. She also spends lots of her time with her rambunctious fur pup Cuco, who she rescued from Mexico
Marissa joined the Eagle Rise / Glenview as an assistant, in late 2016, after working 4 years at PetSmart. After coming in with her Mom's cat Myra early 2016 and seeing Chris, Chris mentioned how much he thought she'd enjoy the Animal Health Technology program, and shortly after she came back to pursue her volunteer hours and soon got hired onto the team as a veterinary assistant! She still hopes to take the AHT program one day, although this plan has been pushed back a little as she is expecting august 2017!
When she isn't at work assisting or upgrading courses, she can be found out and about adventuring all the beautiful west coast has to offer, or at home with a big cup of tea and a book. She has two cats, Chai and Herbie, and french bulldog named Axl who capture her heart over and over every single day.
Megan joined the Glenview & Eagle Rise team in March of 2016 after being a client for many years.
Megan knew she wanted to work with animals from a very small age and is looking forward to taking the Animal Health Technologist program in the near future. Currently, Megan works as both a receptionist and assistant at both practices.
When Megan is not looking after her small zoo at home she is either hiking and camping or volunteering with the Wild Animal Rehabilitation Center out in Metchosin.
Melanie has been working in veterinary clinics since graduating from the V.O.A program in 2006. She came to us in the beginning of 2013 after moving here from Calgary, where she was born and raised. Melanie currently works as an Exam Room Assistant at Eagle Rise.
Melanie enjoys the island life as she loves nature. She is an avid and extremely talented photographer, realizing at a young age it was a passion. You can see her work in the murals on our exam room doors and walls at Glenview Animal Hospital, as well as the staff portraits on this website!
Melanie likes to spend her free time outdoors, taking in the sights of her new home, and camping. Melanie lives with her tortie cat “Emery”.
